I used to know heroin addicts that began there opiate use snorting heroin. They said no way would they ever start shooting heroin.
They thought they were better than the dope fiends that were shooting heroin. Well the real truth is they are addicts too they just ingested their drugs in a different manner. They went through the same sort of opiate withdrawal and the same heroin cravings as I did.
Now the truth of the matter is most of them that were sniffing heroin went on to injecting heroin also. The reason for this is it took them larger quantity's of heroin to get the desired affect.
I will have to add that heroin abuse is on the rise because of the booming number of our youth that smoking heroin today.
What happens is they build up what is know as a tolerance. That is not to say that you will not create a large tolerance from shooting heroin you will.
You can however kick heroin with a minimal amount of suffering from withdrawal but you must go to Heroin Addiction treatment.
In heroin addiction treatment you will be medically detoxed with suboxone. Basically what will happen is upon entry to rehab you will be shown to the detox unit by a experience staff member that has been trained for this purpose they will also administer prescription medications to help ease heroin withdrawal. During this time the first couple days you will need bed rest.
After successfully completing your detox from heroin you will go directly to residential treatment where you will begin attending lectures about drug addiction and you will also start attending 12 step meetings, and substance addiction counseling.
This is a great start to a new life without the use of drugs why not go for it today take action now don't wait another minute. Recovery is a process and some of do not stay clean and sober the first time around I know for a fact that I did not get clean and stay sober my first time to rehab so what I am saying here is never ever give up no matter how many times you have been to rehab or relapsed on heroin or other opiates.
