I know when I is was using I got so tired that I no longer had the energy to hit the streets to hustle for one more bag of dope or another drink of booze. I looked like death warmed over face all sunken in clothes were filthy and so was I. At that time the only thing that mattered was finding ways and means to get more drugs and it did no matter who got hurt in the process. I hurt my family and pretty much anyone I came in contact with.

Then I found long term drug treatment. I stayed there for 2 years in which time I went to meetings every day and attended drug addiction counseling once per week. I thank God for that because I believe that God placed my therapist there to help me to stop using drugs. I actually give her a whole lot of credit for helping me change my life. She would come up with things that I had never done before like sharing my feelings with another man and I would give it a try. This I just one example of many fears.

Good luck
