How to Tough out a Dilaudid addiction and get clean and sober

Now to tuff out an addiction to dilaudid sounds real good but it reality the key word is tough because it will be very challenging. Dilaudid affects the body as well as the mind so there will be physical as well as psychological effects when one suddenly stops using dilaudid.

A person’s dilaudid withdrawal will vary somewhat by how long and how many milligrams you were using per day. I have kicked a dilaudid habit that I was using around 20 numbers K4 dilaudid per day and you can bet that it was not easy. In fact if you are a heavy user you may want to consider going to what some would call a luxery rehab where they have dilaudid addiction treatment centers where they specialize in opiate detox. They will have trained medical personal on call to help you detox from dilaudid.

Toughing out Dilaudid addiction

It is pretty hard to kick dilaudid cold turkey but if you do not have the means to pay for rehab then maybe you will have to go this route. If you intend to kick dilaudid cold turkey get rid of all the paraphernalia meaning all your empty pill containers and works if you are shooting dilaudid. This is a must if you want to get clean and sober.

Next thing you can do is find a friend whom you trust to come and stay with you while you detox from dilaudid. They can be a big help as far as moral support and may actually be the deciding factor whether you make it through the detox or not.

One can go to the local pharmacy and get medications to help with the withdrawal symptoms, Benadryl is good to help you sleep and Keopeptate will help with diarrhea plus get some Motrin and Tylenol for cramps and headaches. With this you have pretty much what you need to kick dilaudid but if possible I would recommend rehab.
